Ask for the thing you actually want.

Put it in a shop of your own and share the link. People chip in what they can, and the money stays in escrow until the wish is full.

Example

£840of £1,240

Three steps, and the third one runs itself.

  1. 01

    List what you want

Paste a link and it fills in the name, picture and price. Set what the wish costs, or ask for part of it.

  2. 02

    Share your link

Your shop lives at one address you can put anywhere. Anyone can open it — nobody has to sign up to give.

  3. 03

    Watch the stone fill

Contributions are held until the wish is fully funded. At 100% it unlocks and the money is yours to spend.

Money is the part that has to be boring.

Anyone can promise this in a paragraph. These three are enforced a layer below the app, where the website cannot talk its way around them.

  • A total nobody can type in

Funding totals are maintained by the database itself. A wish's owner can edit their own page all day and still cannot move the number on it.

  • No donation is written from a browser

No signed-in account has permission to create, change or delete a contribution. They are recorded from confirmed payments and nothing else.

  • Your page holds no way to contact you

A shop has to open for strangers, so the public profile carries no email address. Yours stays on your sign-in record where nobody can read it.
